Sapphire Glow by Mad Micas is a glow-in-the-dark pigment that produces a strong sapphire-blue glow after exposure to light. It offers a deeper blue effect than the aqua-toned Glow Blue and is made from pure zinc sulfide.
About this colorant
Choose Sapphire Glow when you want a darker, truer blue glow rather than an aqua or turquoise effect. Like other glow pigments, its performance depends on proper light exposure and keeping competing colorants from reducing the glow.

Formulation notes
- Expose the pigment to light to activate the glow. Other colorants, especially titanium dioxide, can reduce glow performance. Not recommended for white melt & pour base.
Shelf life and storage
Use within 6 months of purchase. Reseal the container immediately after use and store in a cool, dry place. Zinc sulfide glow pigments are highly hygroscopic, so protect the product from moisture; adding a silica gel packet can help absorb residual humidity.
